Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (16-20 count) shrimp, deveined, tail-on
  • Creole seasoning to taste
  • 6 T butter
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 T Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 2 T water (if needed)
  • Scallions to garnish

For the Shrimp:

  1. Add a skillet to the griddle and preheat to 400 degrees. Meanwhile, place the shrimp in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Next, season with creole seasoning until well coated. Set the shrimp aside for a few minutes (we’ll come back to these shortly).
  2. Once the skillet is hot, add the butter to coat the pan. When the butter has melted, add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Next, add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet along with the Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice. Allow the shrimp to cook until pink on both sides, turning them as needed. At this stage, add the water if desired (optional – it will slightly reduce the potency bh0020of the previous ingredients).
  4. Finally, remove the pan from the griddle and shut off the burners. Garnish with scallions and serve w/ toasted baguette slices (if desired) and enjoy!
